Erika Clayton is a dedicated Tucson hairstylist with five years of experience in the industry. She has been an enthusiastic member of the Salon Renaissance team for almost a year, drawn by the salon’s unique energy and luxurious atmosphere. “Jenna has created a space that values luxury and exclusivity; it’s magical. I love my job, and I love the people I get to work with,” Erika shares. As a Tucson hairdresser, Erika’s passion for her craft and her vibrant personality make her an integral part of the Salon Renaissance family.

Erika specializes in blondes, barbering, and extensions, with a particular love for barbering services such as hot towel shaves, facials, and beard sculpting. “Barbering is my specialty, but my heart is also in love with color,” she says. Growing up in Tucson, Erika appreciates the city’s blend of big-city amenities and small-town feel, with its beautiful views and endless sunshine. The rich art and culture of Tucson inspire her to push boundaries and embrace creativity in her work as a Tucson colorist.

“Tucson is huge on art and culture; there are no boundaries. That inspires me to be completely open in my craft,” she explains.

Building strong relationships with her clients is a cornerstone of Erika’s approach to hairstyling. She cherishes the long-term connections she has formed, many of which began during her time in school. “I’ve had clients with me since school. They have been my biggest support,” she notes. Erika’s philosophy is to create effortless hair that suits her clients’ lifestyles, ensuring they leave feeling confident and satisfied. Outside of the salon, she loves spending time with her boys, exploring Tucson’s hiking trails, and staying active. Erika’s ultimate goal is to continue learning and growing in her career, aspiring to become an educator in the future. “My goal since day one has been to learn as much as possible. The plan is to keep growing,” she affirms.
